My Dear Prince Tony Omoaghe,
It is with immense joy and pleasure that I join family, friends and well wishers to greet you – Prince Tony Omoaghe – whom we fondly refer to as “The Digital Chair” on this auspicious occasion of your 80th birthday. I know I speak for a wide range of friends and colleagues as I salute you for being a real political enigma who has successfully broken the boundaries of Political Party Membership or the usually tight Ethnic affiliations that has bedeviled our Nation’s politics as you traversed the
complicated Nigerian Political terrain so amazingly and so successfully over the past 50 years. Certainly, you do have a mouth watering story to tell in the Party Political history of our countryNigeria.
Thank you, Tony, for agreeing to work with me and Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu in 2005 when I brought the new Party AC – Action Congress- to Edo State. Without any pleading you accepted to be the foundation State Chairman of the Party.
There were so many who wanted to contest for the Governorship against the PDP in Power then but you, without any hassle accepted our decision to field Comrade Adams Alliu Oshiomhole. It was a difficult battle but we won. The rest is now history!
You are a proud Esan Son from Ogwa down the road from Igueben and we have traversed our Esan land in many political campaigns. I remember with nostalgia your role as our campaign music master .. Ha! Ha! Haaa!! Inu Na Ze San Ze Boo! Inu Na Ze San Ze Boo… Na De Same O!!!
My Brother I wish you many more happy years in good health of mind and body. May the good Lord continue to keep, protect, and guide you.
I am not in the Country now but will join you as soon as I return with all our usual friends in continued celebration with you.
